Folklore is the traditional art, literature, knowledge and practice that is disseminated largely through oral, written and behavioural example. Folklore is the collection of fictional stories about animals and people of the cultural myths, jokes, songs, tales and even quotes. It is a description of culture, which has been passed down verbally from generation to generation in any written or oral form and it is also known as oral tradition. Folklore was first coined by William John in 1846 and they were popularly known as antiquities or literature. The happenings in society which could not be proven yet true were preserved through oral narration passed down from generation to generation. From the stories of infamous witches, wizard, blood sucking vamps, sirens, mermaids, demons, spirits, werewolves, heroes and heroines.
