Mobile Money Fraud alert -New Method

There’s a new mobile money fraud going on…it’s no more targeted at customers but rather Mobile Money Merchants.
So what the mobile money fraudsters are now doing is, they’ll intentionally package an envelope with cut-out cartons to look like a huge sum of money.

Once they get to the Merchant, they’ll ask for him/her to make a deposit for them and once the process is completed, they’ll flee.
So please Merchants out there, take note… when someone wants to deposit an amount, make sure you take the cash, count it first before initiating the deposit process.

“FIX THE TRAFFIC LIGHTS OR STEP DOWN”– CONCERNED ROAD USERS TO THE UPPER EAST REGIONAL MINISTER The capital town of the Upper East Region, Bolgatanga, roads has been decorated with all kinds of traffic lights but none of them are functioning. This makes users of the road: both drivers and pedestrians feel uncomfortable anytime they are using these major roads in their daily businesses in the town. They believed that the traffic lights are just on the various road points for beautification and not to help pedestrians to minimize road accidents.
