Mobile Money Fraud alert -New Method

There’s a new mobile money fraud going on…it’s no more targeted at customers but rather Mobile Money Merchants.
So what the mobile money fraudsters are now doing is, they’ll intentionally package an envelope with cut-out cartons to look like a huge sum of money.

Once they get to the Merchant, they’ll ask for him/her to make a deposit for them and once the process is completed, they’ll flee.
So please Merchants out there, take note… when someone wants to deposit an amount, make sure you take the cash, count it first before initiating the deposit process.

Ghanaians should stand with Hon. Agyapong- Ghanaian based London urged.

A Ghanaian based in London Mr. Ebenezer Adjei-Sarpong has called on Ghanaians to stand with the Member of Parliament of Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong to condemn the sanction by the Washington administration.  According to him, it is sad and very unfortunate that this pre meditated act had to happen, he categorically condemns such wicked action, and that Ghanaians should help condemning the sanction. The idea of slavery or slave trade was not foreign to Africa before their contact with the Europeans.There is evidence that Africans were involved in the slave trade through the trans-Saharan and ocean slave trade . The trans-Atlantic  slave emerged as a result of the Portuguese contact with west African especially in Africa in the  15thcentury. Slavery was not an important component of the trans-Atlantic slave trade in the early 15th century.
