"Lets Play 50% of B/A Music" Tilla Rhay...

Tilla Rhay
"As an industry we need to set-up structures, we need a policy to govern our creative arts. There should be an agenda to bring our upcoming Artistes to the main stream," Tilla Rhay stated in an interview with him on the 9th of October, 2018. Clearly a topic close to his heart.

He said in a proposal to all media houses in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana, outlining the need to play 50% of music made in the Region to help promote talent and establish household names for already unveiled Artistes.

He pointed out that Brong Ahafo (B/A) is full of great talent and thus the need for a platform for their music to be showcased. He reiterated that "50% of the songs being made by our own artists here in
the likes of Kooko, Bodwese, Fali Finest, Kaasolo, Qwesi Qorang, Imrana, Lexis, Daremame Beat, Berry Jay, Joe Felix, Xdeim, Tilla Rhay himself and many others should be played first and foremost in our Region before anywhere else really."

He concluded saying, "let us all support our own to put Brong Ahafo on the map, as similar measures are being put in place in most of the other Regions, Tamale and Takoradi even playing almost 80% of their own songs. Let's all come together to help push this agenda" He petitioned.
