Mother's day is celebrated in the second week of the month of May.
Mother's Day Celebration is commemorated for women to appreciate their contribution to society.



 A mother is a woman trained in the arts of parenting and parenthood hence God designed them in a special way to care, support, show love and bring forth babies.


Mothers are epitome of love and a living sacrifice of God's compassion on mankind. I want to be around your miraculous shade because I can't find a word to describe the love and affection that you've given me. I feel like a Prince of Egypt each day when you lavish me with love that shines like pure gold.


From dawn to dusk your immense care and protection overwhelm me. I want the world to know that you're a symbol of peace, orderliness, strength and a priceless possession.
Mom I cannot repay you back but I want to harken unto your teachings like a chicken that runs under the protection of the mother's feathers .I cannot replace you and I love you the way you're. God bless you and all womanhood.

SOLUTIONS TO THESE IMPENDING ISSUES ARE AS FOLLOWS ; Place bins at vantage points – It has been said that, the last time this was tried, the bins were stolen. Unpatriotic Ghanaians shouldn’t stop us from living well. Police the beaches- Beaches must be policed, cleaned and preserved – Seriously, the idea of fish fattened on poop is not natural or funny. It is not a worthy cultural practice either. It should stop. The sight of adults and children constantly shitting at our coastline is one of the quickest ways of spreading disease and degrading the seabed. Every home must have a toilet facility – In 2019, open defecation should be unacceptable to all Ghanaians. This must be the law. No landlord should be allowed to rent out rooms if they do not have a  toilet facility. “FIX THE TRAFFIC LIGHTS OR STEP DOWN”– CONCERNED ROAD USERS TO THE UPPER EAST REGIONAL MINISTER The capital town of the Upper East Region, Bolgatanga, roads has been decorated with all kinds of traffic lights but none of them are functioning. This makes users of the road: both drivers and pedestrians feel uncomfortable anytime they are using these major roads in their daily businesses in the town. They believed that the traffic lights are just on the various road points for beautification and not to help pedestrians to minimize road accidents.
