The African University College of Communications (AUCC)which is arguably the best Communications school  in the Country is set to organize its communication's week
Among other things, the aim of this “One-week” celebration is to sell the ideas of final year students to industry players. So this is a platform where industry players and students are met halfway.







This year’s AUCC Communications Week is themed “Connecting and Empowering through Communication” and below are the activities lined-up:
Mon. 23 April – Launch
Tues. 24 April – Route march through selected streets in Accra and Inter class/session quiz
Wed. 25 April – Industrial Fair (Exhibition of products and services by AUCC students and corporate Ghana).
#MigiZigiFiesta – Where students showcase their talents in creative arts such as poetry recitals, spoken word, music, rap battles, dance, painting, cooking, fashion parade, décor, literary work, sculpture, photography, modeling, theatre, etc.
This will be preceded by a car wash on campus
Thurs. 26 April – Public presentation of Final year students’ research project works.
Fri. 27 April – African Fashion Night (African cultural dance performances, food display and fashion parade)
Sat. 28 April – Aerobics and Kenkey Party
Sun. 29 April – Thanksgiving service & Pool party

SOLUTIONS TO THESE IMPENDING ISSUES ARE AS FOLLOWS ; Place bins at vantage points – It has been said that, the last time this was tried, the bins were stolen. Unpatriotic Ghanaians shouldn’t stop us from living well. Police the beaches- Beaches must be policed, cleaned and preserved – Seriously, the idea of fish fattened on poop is not natural or funny. It is not a worthy cultural practice either. It should stop. The sight of adults and children constantly shitting at our coastline is one of the quickest ways of spreading disease and degrading the seabed. Every home must have a toilet facility – In 2019, open defecation should be unacceptable to all Ghanaians. This must be the law. No landlord should be allowed to rent out rooms if they do not have a  toilet facility. “FIX THE TRAFFIC LIGHTS OR STEP DOWN”– CONCERNED ROAD USERS TO THE UPPER EAST REGIONAL MINISTER The capital town of the Upper East Region, Bolgatanga, roads has been decorated with all kinds of traffic lights but none of them are functioning. This makes users of the road: both drivers and pedestrians feel uncomfortable anytime they are using these major roads in their daily businesses in the town. They believed that the traffic lights are just on the various road points for beautification and not to help pedestrians to minimize road accidents.
