The Potosky Hitz Entertainment signed artist, Elvis nana Owusu known by his showbiz name Elvee has finally reacted to allegations that he stole Kofi Kinaata’s popular song, “Susuka” for his current hit and viral song “Blessing”. Elvee Speaking to Ghpage.com, Elvee explained that, there are no similarities between ‘Susuka’ and ‘Blessing” so he is shocked people are just making baseless comparisons between his hit songs and Kofi Kinaata’s song. Alhaji Sinare refused to bow to delegates pressure

Image
I congratulate Alhaji Sinare for not bowing to ‘delegates’pressure Elections in Ghana has become very expensive and complex, which eventually gives power and authority to the highest giver or spender. Right from the constituency, regional and national elections had been characterized with money, cycles, ovens and envelopes with huge sums given to delegates in exchange of votes. This condition is pervasive and a thread that could be seen in all the political parties in Ghana. At the just ended NDC delegates congress at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra, delegates from across the regions were seen asking aspirants for money or they won’t vote for them. I was with Alhaji Sinare when they came and after what looked like a threat to he winning the congress , he told them in the face “I don’t have money. In fact when the others bring the money take it but for the right candidates that would make the NDC win power in 2020.” Their response “Alhaji if you don’t give us money we won’

CENTRAL UNIVERSITY REPORTEDLY ON THE VERGE OF COLLAPSE

Image
In an interview with YEN, some students of the university revealed that all is not well with the school and they fear it is on the verge of collapse.  Earlier, the university laid off some staff and other workers, while the registrar confirmed that the university was running on life-support.  According to students, lectures have not been paid salaries for three months.  Other workers at the university have also not been paid for months, the students claimed They also lamented the poor services being rendered to them on campus including "no water, no light" and others, which they revealed was making life on campus very difficult for them.  Sources say the only way the university could remedy the situation is by increasing fees for the student.  However, any such move would backfire owing to the fact that Central University has one of the highest school fees in the country, and students may not agree to pay more.  The current situation of the university, according to t

OPEN LETTER TO AUCC-SRC EXECUTIVES Good day Hon executives of AUCC-SRC, I hope and believe this letter finds you in a very healthy mood. I write to you this humble letter with pains in my heart and disappointment in my face as a student and a student activist in the African University College of Communications Business school. I know you might not be happy seeing this letter going viral on the various AUCC WhatsApp Platforms and even beyond but I don't think that should prevent me from expressing my grievances of your poor performance as SRC executives with respect to students welfare among others. I must admit that your administration has been facing some challenges but should that be the excuse for your failure? Certainly not. First of all, I would like to talk about the mess at our washrooms. Before your assumption of office as SRC executives, you made us believed that the problems we are facing at our various washrooms are already on your table and hence you would tr

Gospel musician, Mrs. Esther ACHEAMPONG also known as ‘Estarch’, is set to release her second album titled ‘Covenant’ on the 4th of November this year at the Lord’s Temple Of the International Central Gospel Church in Kuntunse. The album was motivated by personal experiences she went through. Responding to what motivated her to composed an 8 track album she said, “This album was inspired by the series of challenges I experienced in life after which I came to understand that indeed God has vowed that he is going to bless his children; which I am a part of. But  I needed to play my part in whatever covenant I have with him because he is a covenant keeping God.” She added that in modern day Ghana, a lot of Christians  go off the track because they believe their blessing have been delayed and therefore, are seeking other avenues. “Many of us give up along the line and we get frustrated in waiting. But we need to keep trusting and obeying him and we will see his glory.”
