FATHER’S DAY

Image
MOST , we tend  to forget all about our fathers  and it's  always mothers. We seem to forget that if not all there are some good fathers still around. It's time we celebrate fatherhood to express love, appreciation, affection and honor to our fathers, Uncles,  fathers-in-law and great grandfathers for their hardwork and contributions to the  family and society as a whole. Father’s day is celebrated every third Sunday in the month of June. Being a father is not defined by one moment, it is a tireless commitment to the small things that happens every day and the constant response to every call. Every Father is like an idol to me, this is because of the ounce of blood, tears and sweat you shed on us to shape our lives, I want to say a Happy Father’s day.

Three years on and I want to take you down to the chilling memory lane of how the day's dream turned into a worst nightmare for hundreds of residents in and around circle, adabraka and all in Accra. On an ending note, the  nation mourned its lost souls on June
